Oldenburg is situated between Emden and Bremen. I had already decided earlier that this would be a day trip with two cities so I made a stop at Oldenburg and explored this town a bit.

Today’s destination was a small German town in the west: Emden. So I packed in my video camera, photo camera and GPS watch and took the regional train to Emden.

Wismar

Wismar was a member of the once powerful trade organisation Hanse. It is a small and compact town and once you arrive at the train station you are basically already in the central part.
